Announcement from St. Rep. Beverly Rodeschin on the June 2nd vote for Lebanon's special election for State Rep. and the Gay Marriage Bill hearing on
Tuesday in Concord.
Harry introduces NH Republican State Chairman Governor John Sununu.
Chairman Sununu's presentation follows.
Chairman Sununu states, N.H. Today has partisan issues. The Democrats are supporting big government and more fees and taxes, both nationally and here in N.H.
Democrats are using funding from one time sources. They have a 12% increase in the budget. They are even taking from funds of doctors in the private sector,
increasing capital gains taxes, the death tax, rooms and meals taxes and the gas tax. They have no thoughts of cutting much spending. Obama promised a tax
cut to 95% of the people - a Republican act. Lynch also acts like a Republican at all his elections. Same with gay marriage. He's got no backbone and has
turned on his word on gay marriage. We now rank last in quality of services to our citizens. We need to stand up and fight to gather as a party. The
Democrats are raising too many fees. Small businesses are being hurt greatly by insurances, now. The state house needs to get cleaned out from the corner
office to the House and Senate. The public employees fund is lacking. The bond statements are very poor. November 2008 (unfunded liability) is at 7 billion
dollars. The Governor has done nothing to fix these problems. Communication is the most important factor in policy and government. The state of NH must be
returned back to the Republicans to restore NH to what it was. The state party needs your help to fix the state.
Questions were given on workman's compensation and small business, how to communicate to union employees, resources for communications, the state budget,
retirement funding, voter standards, NH budget spending and welfare, how to communicate to the young voter, the gas tax and climate change.
